Robert Swift is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on December 3, 1985 in Bakersfield, California, United States. The Sonics expected Swift to be their starting center in 2006. Swift was given the center position, but he injured his anterior crucial ligament in the right knee in a preseason match against the Sacramento Kings. Swift injured his right knee after he fell, and he went out of bounds in front of the Seattle bench. Swift also sustained a tear in his lateral meniscus in February 2008.

In 2009, Swift joined the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League. However, he left the team for personal reasons after appearing in two games. He was overweight and experienced a decrease in mobility.

On December 22, 2009, the Oklahoma City Thunder renounced the rights to Swift.
