Before the end of her sophomore year, she went past the thousand-point mark of her basketball career, becoming only the second woman basketball player of Notre Dame to achieve such a breakthrough.

During her years in college she was a candidate for the Wooden Award, Naismith Award, Lieberman Award, Senior Class Award and Dawn Staley Trophy. In 2013 she finished her career as the all-time Notre Dame leading scorer with 2,357 points, during their final match against the University of Connecticut, their Big East rival, and earning the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award for two years in a row.
