Sozahdah earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of California, Riverside, in 2005. She went to the Western University of Health Sciences for her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant.

Jamila is the same person who injected former soccer player Samir Nasri with 500 ml of sterile water with micronutrient components, almost ending his soccer career. While the substance is not banned, the consumed amount was ten times more than what is allowed by the World Anti-Doping Code.

Samir was banned for 18 months and eventually played for West Ham. However, he could never recover to his old form and was later released by the team in 2020.
